*Do you prefer a public or a private university? . It is a very important question,because your life depends on the answer of this question. The number of public universities in Egypt are much more than private universities. However , students begin to attend private universities rather than public universities. Private universities have special requirements that are not available to some students in Egypt. But parents try very hard to provide these requirements to make their sons enter into a private university. Other parents don`t like private universities at all. That is a very personal choice ,depending on student`s needs and interests
On one hand,a public university has a lot of advantages . One of its advantages is that students only pay registration fees.There is no selective admission in public universities . Students depend on their degrees in secondary school to enter one of the public universities. One of its disadvantages is that your application must be completed on time or early ,or you will not enter this year . It is much harder to get personal attention from staff or faculty when needed. It means that the number of students in public university is very big.
On the other hand , a private university has a lot of advantages such as: The class rooms are small , better financial aid and more scholarships. It has a policy to help students get high paying jobs as soon as they graduate.It is much easier to get personal attention from staff or faculty when needed. A Private university also has disadvantages . It is much more expensive than public university. In private university you might or might not like the students selected.
In my point of view, private university is better than public university.As in private university ,the hours of studying are very short . Students graduate with a certificate of experience. The doctors are from all over the world and professional. Different types of scientific and educational facilities are available in them. private university helps us (as students) to find a suitable job as soon as we graduate.This is our most important goal from learning and private universities can achieve our goals. that is why I prefer private university.
